2023 Uncharted Wilderness Ancient Tree Raw Puerh Tea Cake

Sourced from the pristine primordial forests of Yiwu's uninhabited wilderness, this tea originates in a realm untouched by human footprints, where ecosystems remain unspoiled. Here, each ancient tea tree coexists symbiotically with surrounding flora, standing independent and towering over ten meters tall. Their distinctive "high-canopy" growth form crowns the forest canopy, growing completely wild and untainted by worldly interference.

We have meticulously selected ancient arboreal tea trees exceeding 400 years in age. From each tree, only four to five kilograms of fresh leaves can be harvested, making this yield exceptionally precious.

This tea represents a collaborative development between Huapu Chang and the Yunnan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, maintaining strict quality standards while preserving traditional tea-making techniques: iron-wok kill-green, hand-rolling, and stone-pressing. The resulting tea cake is full and rounded, with robust, evenly distributed leaves. The dry tea already exudes a rich floral and honey aroma, subtly underpinned by wild, earthy notes.

When brewed, the liquor shines golden and translucent. On the palate, a subtle bitterness emerges only to dissolve instantly, giving way to a powerful, enduring sweetness. The layered fragrance of flowers and honey unfolds in harmonious richness. By the fourth and fifth infusions, the mature character of this raw Pu'erh becomes more pronounced—cooling sensations deepen in the throat, while the tea grows progressively clearer and sweeter. Its energy is potent yet calming, like an entire forest unfolding gently within your cup.
