Bilingual Tea Guide EP1

We'll help you to build your tea vocabulary in both Mandarin and English.

The reason we started this “tea4two” YouTube channel, is that we realized there are far too many aspects of tea knowledge that are often left unexplained—or that people simply aren’t willing to explain clearly.

Compounded by the vast amount of misinformation online and AI-generated content, this often misleads those who are genuinely eager to learn about tea.

The world of tea isn‘t as difficult to understand as it may seem. With clear knowledge, logical structure, and context, it’s not hard to find a tea that you truly love.

Tea is an agricultural product. The processes of tea making and brewing cannot be replicated like a standardized SOP in an electronics factory. Dedicated tea farmers and masters work with what nature provides—”making tea according to the weather.“ A truly excellent cup of tea is something that is hard-won.

Finding what you consider to be ”good tea,“ however, also takes a bit of serendipity.

We encourage you to: open your mind, settle your spirit, and welcome all types of tea. You‘ll discover joy and nuance from there.

Remember this, tea lovers: ”Never stop asking ‘why,’ and always brew with your own hands.“ This is the best way to learn.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes while brewing. Every skilled tea master can improvise with ease precisely because they learned from their failures. It‘s through these experiences that they built a stable foundation, constructing their expertise step by step.

If I can do it, I believe you can, too.
