“Zhenxin · Raw Pu'er Tea Protection Land Series” is exclusively distributed by tea4joy. This series of ancient tree teas originates from the state-owned forest protection land within the Yunnan Great Snow Mountain range in China. After the discovery of wild ancient tea trees in these area, experimental harvesting and production began in 2016, with formal production commencing in the spring of 2017. The teas are crafted either by blending leaves from three adjacent tea trees within the same zone or as single-tree teas. By 2020, the series had expanded to include six protection areas.
The state-owned forest protection zones are situated at an altitude of approximately 2,100 meters. The teas are produced exclusively from wild arbor Pu'erh tea trees, aged 500 to 600 years, harvested during the first flush of spring each year. Prior to 2016, these ancient tea trees had never been touched or harvested by humans, resulting in an exceptionally pure and delicate tea quality. The annual yield is extremely limited.
The numbers on the 250g tea cake packaging hold specific meanings: the first two digits represent the last two digits of the year in the Gregorian calendar, and the last two digits indicate the code of the protection land. For example, "2306" denotes an ancient tree tea produced in 2023 from the sixth protection land/area. The "Protection Land Number Series" is regarded as the highest-quality tea offering from us.
