This piece was fired in a primal wood-fired kiln. Over days of firing, Luan Bo observed the rhythm of the flames and listened to the kiln’s breath, allowing natural fire and ash to compose freely upon the clay. In the end, the vessel transformed in the most natural way—bearing cloud-like flame marks, deep and gentle ash glazes, and rich kiln-induced colors. Each piece is one of a kind, carrying the living memory of the kiln.
